Compensation

The Clergy Health Initiative will compensate you up to $100 per session for the time you spend participating in many of the scheduled health screenings and surveys that take place before or after you receive wellness services.

To receive any scheduled compensation, you must complete both the survey and the health screening for that time period.

Group 1

The Clergy Health Initiative will not provide compensation for participation in the baseline screening in November 2010 (required for enrollment) or for any screenings that take place during your two-year window for receiving wellness services.

However, we will pay $75 per event for your participation in the three screenings that take place after Group 1 receives wellness services:

  • May 2013
  • November 2013
  • May 2014

If you are unable to attend a scheduled screening event, Duke will send a technician to collect data from you at your home or office. In this case, the compensation will be $25 (for completion of your survey), rather than the amount listed. However, we urge you to participate in the screening events if at all possible. They are considerably less expensive to administer than individual home visits, and these savings enable us to channel more of our funding into program services.

Group 2

The Clergy Health Initiative will not provide compensation for participation in the baseline screening in November 2010 (required for enrollment) or for any screenings that take place during your two-year window for receiving wellness services.

We may elect to conduct screenings after Group 2 receives wellness services:

  • May 2014
  • November 2014
  • May 2015

We will conduct these screenings only if we believe, at that point, that the additional data will be helpful for strengthening the program for later users or for better understanding its effects. We will pay $75 per event for your participation at each of time points that we collect data.

  • May 2015
